Edit for their reply: The additional electrical expenses resulted from work that Belfor initially overlooked during their inspection. We did have extra electrical work completed, which we paid for out of pocket. Furthermore, we never signed anything stating that we were satisfied with the work—because, quite frankly, it was subpar. I had a backup in my basement and Belfor was assigned to the claim by my Insurance company. From the initial response on the night of the backup, through to the completion of the repairs, Belfor was fantastic. Myles Kirkhammer was the project manager and he did a great job. He spent time with me to review the work to be done, clearly answered my many questions and was always available via phone or email. If you want a simple repair to drag on for months with zero accountability, this is the contractor for you. What should have taken two weeks took four months, and they were ultimately removed by my insurance company due to incompetence. Avoid at all cost!!!

I would be more than happy to discuss the issues experienced over a call. This is what I have tried to do over the last several months however here we are. I was extremely disappointed with Katt Cooper, Project Manager. Since Katt was assigned to my restoration project in the summer of 2024, there have been several instances of missed appointments, lack of follow up and, on numerous occasions, no response to calls, emails, or text messages.
